Missions

Dr. Holden’s passion for his profession is second only to his compassion for people. He has made several trips to small villages and orphanages in such places as Alaska, Haiti, Morocco, and Cambodia, providing free dental treatment to those who don’t have access to such care. He has a genuine love for his work and the people he serves.

Meet Dr. Holden

Dr. Jamie Holden is a periodontist dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in periodontics and implant dentistry. Originally from Northern British Columbia, he came to the U.S. on an NCAA Division I hockey scholarship to Quinnipiac University, where he served as the starting goaltender for four seasons and graduated summa cum laude with a 3.9 GPA. After college, he played professional hockey with the San Jose Sharks organization and several affiliated teams before transitioning to a career in dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a two-year General Practice Residency, serving as Co-Chief Resident.

Dr. Holden went on to complete his specialty training in periodontics at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he also earned a Master of Science in Periodontology. He focuses on helping patients achieve long-term oral health through individualized treatment plans that include both surgical and non-surgical therapies. He and his wife, Marion—also a dentist—have two children, Cora and Matthew. Outside of the office, Dr. Holden enjoys hiking, cooking, playing sports, and spending quality time with his family.
